Why do we meet?
The name is based on Luke 10 vs 38-42 from the Christian Bible where you meet Mary and Martha, sisters and friends of Jesus:
- Like Mary, we long to sit at the Lord’s feet… but the daily demands of a busy world just won’t leave us alone.
- Like Martha, we love Jesus and really want to serve him… yet we struggle with weariness, resentment, and feelings of inadequacy.
The aim of M&Ms is to provide a relaxed setting for women to get to know each other, take some time out from their busy lives and support one another in Church.
