The Vision
To build a missional community of students who are ablaze with the visible glory of God and have righteous influence over the universities and the city of Leicester.
We hope to do this by:
1. Helping our students to grow in their relationship with God, with their fellow students and with the wider church community. This involves seeing them integrated into the church through joining a small group.
2. Equipping, encouraging and enabling our students to spread the Good News of Jesus across the universities campuses, throughout the city of Leicester and to the ends of the earth.
3. Raising up and encouraging our students into positions of leadership in both the church and the secular world during their time at university and preparing them for future leadership.
4. Helping our students to gain a greater understanding of the importance of the global church and, in particular, the family of churches that is Newfrontiers.
The KCL Students' Blog
This blog will feature posts written by the student team and some of our students. Hopefully you will find reading this blog beneficial and fun.
As well as this we will also feature, thoughts, insights and general musings about some of the issues that affect student life as well as some slightly less serious content.
In this blog we’ll be posting news and updates about upcoming student events, posting thoughts and comments on things we’ve done as a family of student as well as things happening in the life of Kings Church Leicester.
King’s Church Leicester Student Team proudly presents ‘The KCL Students' blog’

King's Church run an adoption scheme for students. This is where church members, families or non-student individuals, volunteer to adopt a student whilst they study within Leicester.
The aim is to ensure that students feel part of the church family away when they are living away from home.
If you would like to know more, please contact the church.
